Wish there was a way for you to keep everything for your whole Girl Scout year in one place? Meet the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK), the new web app that helps you make the most of every troop meeting.
Girls have more fun when they can shape their own experience, do hands-on activities, and work together as teams. With the new toolkit, girls and leaders can explore meeting topics and program activities together, and follow the fun as they plan their Girl Scout year.
Here’s how it will save you time and help you plan:
- For Daisy, Brownie, and Junior troops, the VTK comes with pre-populated plans for every meeting—a full year of Girl Scouts right there on your device! Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops don’t get pre-populated meetings yet (coming soon), but they can access some other great planning features.
- For those of you who want to do your own thing, everything is fully customizable. You can add your own activities to the plan, and if you want to change the order of activities, just drag and drop.
- The app runs of your home computer, tablet, or mobile device. No more hunting for the right activity or book!

Reminders about access to the VTK:
- The VTK goes off line during the month of July 2022. If you have not renewed your membership for 2022-2023, you WILL NOT have access to the VTK when it comes back online in August of 2022, until your membership is renewed even though your 2022 membership does not officially end until September 30, 2022
- To have access to the VTK, your 2022-2023 membership must be renewed as early as possible but no later than September 30, 2022
- When you renew as a co-leader for 2022-2023, your VTK access will automatically be reinstated
