Designed for troop leaders who are new to outdoor activities and want to feel more confident leading girls outside the meeting room.

Cabin Camping & Fire Building

Have your Girl Scouts already enjoyed everyday outdoor adventures like exploring a nearby park? Are they ready for the next step in their outdoor journey?

This intermediate outdoor training will help you confidently plan and lead a fun, safe cabin camping trip for your troop.

Duration: 3.5 hours

Cost: $20

Level 1 is not required

Tent Camping & Outdoor Cooking

Your Girl Scouts can’t get enough of the outdoors! After day trips, park adventures, and cabin camping, they’re ready to level up to their next adventure: platform or pitched tent camping.

In this overnight training, you’ll learn how to plan and lead a successful tent camping trip. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll practice the same skills your girls will learn, building the confidence you need to make outdoor adventures safe, exciting, and memorable.

Duration: Afternoon Day 1 to Morning Day 2

Prerequisite: Outdoor Skills Level 2 - Cabin Camping & Fire Building

Cost: $25

Cost: $50 + certification fee from USA Archery

Must be renewed every 2 years
