Nothing is more important within Girl Scouting than ensuring the health and safety of girls.
It’s important for our girls, adults, training staff, and volunteers to be safety conscious to ensure proper supervision, prevention of accidents, and maintenance of program resources.
Please reference the file below for important information about the Safety Activity Checkpoints and a complete chart of all activities.
DOWNLOADUse the chart to ensure that girls are planning for activities that are approved for their program level to avoid disappointment.
If you have any questions regarding the Safety Activity Checkpoints, please contact Risk Management.
GSGATL's Volunteer COVID-19 Guidelines provide interim guidance on holding in-person troop meetings and activities.
A Virtual Troop Meeting safety activity checkpoint has been created to provide guidance on safely leading virtual troop meetings for girls. Council approval is not required for online meetings. Prior to meeting online, girls and parents should complete the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Internet Safety Pledge and submit to their troop leader to keep on file with other required documents.
