Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia have partnered on a research-backed, peer-reviewed report examining how girls are growing, learning, connecting, and preparing for the future across our state.
The State of the Georgia Girl Report looks at the experiences shaping the lives of more than 1.2 million girls under 18 in Georgia, including demographics, physical health, emotional wellness, academic success, social connection, safety, and access to opportunity.
Created through a girl-centered lens, the report will help educators, community leaders, policymakers, funders, and partners better understand where Georgia girls are thriving, where barriers remain, and where our communities can work together to expand support and opportunity.
Together with our sister council, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, supporters across the state can reserve the new State of Georgia Girl Scouts specialty license plate, expected to roll out in 2027.
For alum, volunteers, Girl Scout families, and longtime champions of girls, it’s a small but visible way to carry the Movement into everyday life, from school drop-off to weekend road trips and every mile in between.
Girl Scouts is where girls try things they have never tried before, build friendships that last, and practice leadership in real time. They find sisterhood, skill-building, and space to lead.
