Join us for a heartwarming family camping experience that brings loved ones together through the magic of the outdoors. Whether you're an experienced camper or trying it for the first time, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Campfire Connections will accept registrations from men, women, girls, boys, and Alumnae Girl Scouts. Of course, you can attend as a “Dad and Daughter or Mom and me” duo. Choose to camp in your own tent, or reserve a room in a shared cabin, or a platform tent for your family, (for an additional fee except for your own tent).
Spend quality time roasting marshmallows, sharing stories around the campfire, exploring scenic trails, creating crafts, and participating in fun team challenges designed for all ages. Pre-registration is required for High Challenge Course with Zipline and Giant Swing activities for an additional fee (see details below). This year, families can also put their culinary skills to the test in our exciting Chili Cook-Off. Do you have the best chili recipe? Enter the competition and see if your chili takes home first place!
All participants, day or weekend will provide all their own meals.

Campfire Connection Family Cabin
Price: Base price + $15.00 per person
How to reserve: During the online event registration
Cabins are limited to family members.
10 cabin/room units are available for the weekend with 4-12 beds in each cabin. Kitchen areas are shared between 3-5 families using the cabins in the unit. Daisy Hill has a full-size refrigerator but does not have a kitchen. You are welcome to bring a grill or camp stove for food prep. There is a shared family room and a shower/bathroom with multiple stalls. Ranger Bunk house is on camp but is outside the main gate.
If you want to be in the same unit as a friend or troop members, enter their name/troop number in the buddy section when registering.
Campfire Connection Me and My Guy Cabins
Price: Base price + $15.00 per person
How to reserve: During the online event registration
This weekend the cabins will be dedicated to individual dad and daughter pairs. Dads will be in the same unit but in different cabins or rooms than the Girl Scouts.
15 cabin/room units are available for the weekend with 4-12 beds in each cabin. Kitchen areas are shared between 3-5 families using the cabins in the unit. Daisy Hill has a full-size refrigerator but does not have a kitchen. You are welcome to bring a grill or camp stove for food prep. Platform Tents
Price: Base price + $5.00 per person
How to reserve: During the online event registration
Platform tents in Pebblebrook and Shady Oaks units are large, walled canvas tents with wooden floors. There are 10 platform tents, each with 4 beds. A platform tent is assigned to each family or Me and My Guy pair. If you want to be in the same unit as a friend or troop members, enter their name/troop number in the buddy section when registering.
Bring Your Own Tent or Camper
PRICE: No Additional Charge
How to Reserve: During the online event registration
There are 8 platforms at Tall Timbers, and Whippoorwill to pitch your tent on and a few grassy areas to pitch a tent. Choose where you want to stay when you arrive at camp.
Fire rings, shelters, water spigots, picnic tables, and bathhouses are also available. Bring your own traditional camping equipment (portable grill/smoker, propane stove) or go old school and build a campfire in our fire rings or your portable fire pit brought from home.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not a campground and do not have power, water, or sewer hookups for RV’s. Small campers, such as pop-ups and pick-up trucks, are allowed in the lower pasture. If you have a large recreation vehicle or any vehicle with a generator, you will be restricted to Lower Pasture. There are specific time frames for generator use. You may not pitch a tent in a cabin or platform tent unit.
Extra Craft Materials (no pre-registration required)
Price: $5 - $10 per project
We will provide craft materials to you upon check-in. If you need or would like more craft supplies, they will be available for purchase on-site. We will have white shirts, leather pieces, and pillowcases available for purchase.
High Challenge with Zipline (4th grade to Adults)
PRICE: $40 per person
Participants will climb 20–35 feet above the ground and tackle at least two different high challenge elements before experiencing the excitement of soaring through the air on our supervised zipline. Come challenge yourself, build confidence, and experience the thrill of adventure in a safe and encouraging environment!
Giant Swing (2nd grade to Adults)
PRICE: $40 per child
Get ready for an unforgettable thrill on our Giant Swing! Participants will soar through the air as they experience the excitement of swinging high above the ground in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself, build confidence, or simply enjoy an exhilarating adventure, the Giant Swing is sure to be a highlight of your day.

Serendipity returns for another unforgettable year! Experience the magic with your family, troop, or parent-daughter pair as we gather for a special weekend of connection, discovery, and outdoor adventure. Enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, including sustainable crafts like making recycled rugs, wood crafting, guided hikes exploring Georgia’s native flora and fauna, and interactive learning experiences in fire safety and outdoor cooking. We can’t wait to have you join us for a weekend of discovery and fun!
This is a relaxed, choose-your-own-adventure weekend. Participate in as many planned activities as you’d like or simply unwind and enjoy time together taking in the beauty of camp. In addition to self-guided options, camp staff- led activities such as archery, arts and crafts, hiking, outdoor cooking, and more.
Cabin Camping
PRICE: Additional $20 per person
Each cabin is equipped with bunk beds featuring twin mattresses, heating and air conditioning, and electricity. Cabins have a capacity of 16 or 20 people and are located near a central bathhouse with hot water, showers, and flushing toilets.
Cabin space is limited.
Mine and Me/Troop Village
One village is reserved for Mine and Me pairs or troops attending for the weekend. Participants will share a cabin with other Mine and Me pairs or troops.
Family Village
The other village is reserved for families. Each cabin will accommodate up to three families, who will share the cabin space. Males and females may share the same cabin room within a family cabin. Bathroom and shower facilities will be separated by gender.
Bring Your Own Tents
PRICE:
Registration fee with no additional charge
A relatively
flat field in Pine Valley Village has been designated for those who
wish to bring their own tent. This area has access to a nearby
bathhouse with hot water, showers, flushing toilets, fire circles,
and running water. Pine Valley is an incredible area on camp many
don’t get to enjoy!
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is a very popular activity and to accommodate
as many folks as possible we will have multiple sessions available all
day on Saturday. All participants must wear long pants and shoes/boots
with a 1/2" heel. Helmets are provided and are disinfected in
between each use, boots are not provided.
Groom-A-Pony (Grades K - 12th)
PRICE: $20 per child
This program is designed for Girl Scouts and siblings who want to spend some time around our equine friends but may not want to ride them. You will get a lesson on how and why we groom our horses, as well as time to ask horse questions and get answers from one of our Camp Meriwether full-time equine professionals.
**This program is designed explicitly for K-2nd grade Girl Scouts and siblings first starting to come to camp and those who may not be used to being around our equine friends, but want to get introduced to our wonderful and gentle camp horses without any of the pressure of having to ride one.
Maximum Participants: 70
Groom a Pony with a Pony Ride (Grades K – 3rd)
PRICE: $40 per child
This program is designed for Girl Scouts and siblings who want to spend some time around our equine friends and have a short, unique pony ride. You will get a lesson on how and why we groom our horses, as well as time to ask horse questions and get answers from one of our Camp Meriwether full-time equine professionals. You will spend half the time grooming a horse and the other half riding and being led by an amazing adult!
**Adults accompanying your members must assist by leading the horse for them. Staff will ensure you are comfortable before sending you around the arena.
Maximum Participants: 45
Arena Ride (Grades 4th - 12th)
PRICE: $40 per child
Junior and above Girls Scouts and siblings will learn how to start, steer, and stop their horse. Each group will go over barn rules, get suited up for their ride, and learn how to control their horses in an arena. This activity is one hour. Note: The group will participate in the groundwork before the horseback riding portion of the program.
**This program may occur on Sunday morning.
