Welcome, Juliette Girl Scouts

Being a Juliette means experiencing Girl Scouts in a way that works for you. Juliettes are individually registered Girl Scouts who participate outside of a traditional troop, giving you the flexibility to choose the badges, programs, events, outdoor adventures, and experiences that match your interests and goals. Whether you're earning badges at home, attending a council event, heading to camp, participating in Product Programs, working toward a Highest Award, or connecting with other Juliettes, there are plenty of ways to make your Girl Scout experience your own. Step-by-step instructions for joining without a troop toggle arrow

Go to MyGS
Select Find Troops.
If you are looking to join without participating with a troop, scroll to the bottom of the troop listing and click on "I want to participate without a troop".
At the log in prompt, either create a new account or log in to an existing one.
Once you are logged in, you will be able to continue filling out your member details and payment information.
You will pay $60 in membership dues. If you require financial assistance, please fill out the financial assistance application in addition to completing registration.

Note: Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Parent Resources – What is the parent’s role in their Girl Scout Juliette’s experience? Girl Scout Juliettes is a girl-led, family driven Girl Scout experience. As a parent/guardian of a Juliette, you and your Girl Scout will be partners, shaping and sharing in the fun of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

VTK Guide - The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK), the official GSUSA online source for content and related resources and troop financial management support is a digital planning tool that helps you set up, customize and track your activities and achievements.
gsLearn - A resource for you to access courses that meet you where you are in your learning experience. This user-friendly platform allows you to take courses on your own time, be engaged in your learning progress and verify completion of required courses. GsLearn can be accessed through your Girl Scout account by being a registered adult member or emailing us at training@gsgatl.org.
Volunteer Essentials

Earn Badges & Awards toggle arrow

Badges
Badges signify that a Girl Scout completed all the steps needed to earn this recognition for the new skills they learned. Each badge takes a Girl Scout through the steps of learning about the skill, practicing, and demonstrating it. Badge topics range from the outdoors to STEM, or art, and even career exploration. They’re a great way to try something new and see if you enjoy it.

Once a badge is earned, it is sewn or ironed onto a sash or vest. A Girl Scout can earn new badges as they progress through each level, with activities becoming more challenging as they move up.

Awards
Take action to make the world a better place while earning Girl Scouts Highest Awards like the Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.

You can also explore your beliefs by earning faith-based awards. Everything in Girl Scouting is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law, which includes many of the principles and values common across religions. So while we are a secular organization, Girl Scouts has always encouraged girls to take spiritual journeys via their faiths' religious recognitions.
