Ways to Camp

Exploring nature provides challenges and enhances leadership skills. Camping inspires girls’ curiosity, discovery, and problem solving. Learning to sail, conquering a challenge course, and making a fire for s’mores all require courage and teamwork.

Have fun outdoors with these camping opportunities:

  • Family Jubilee Camping
Experience camping with your Girl Scout and family or just you and your Girl Scout on 1,000 acres of lake front, meadows and forests nestled against the Appalachian Mountains. Enjoy archery, crafts, canoeing, and special all-camp events like hikes with spectacular views or even venture out on your own. Enjoy primitive camping “festival-style” in your own tent or camper, or one of our platform tents or a cabin.

  • Serendipity is held at Camp Meriwether, near Newnan, GA and is the picture-perfect setting for girls to re-connect with mom, aunt, grandmother, mentor, and any special women of their choice.

  • Troop Camp and Service Unit Camporees
