Looking for a local camp experience? Our volunteer-led day camps are hosted by dedicated Girl Scout volunteers and offer fun-filled adventures across the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta council.
These camps are run by Service Units and held in a variety of convenient locations—think beautiful parks, community centers, and churches.
About Service Unit Day Camp
Who can attend:
Volunteer-led day camps are open to all girls entering grades 1–12. Camp activities are tailored by age group, ensuring each girl has an engaging experience suited to her interests and abilities.
Registration dates vary:
Each day camp has its own registration open and close dates, so it’s important to check individual session descriptions for specific timelines.
Not a current Girl Scout? No problem!
Girls who aren’t currently registered as Girl Scouts can still attend. Complete a Girl Scout membership during the camp registration process for a $55 fee, which provides membership benefits for the entire year.
Parent involvement:
Many of these camps rely on volunteer support to run smoothly. Interested in volunteering? Contact the camp organizers listed in the session details.
What to bring:
Each camp may have different requirements for what participants should bring. This can include snacks, water bottles, sunscreen, or specific gear depending on the camp’s location and planned activities. Review the session description for a complete packing list.
Camp safety:
Safety is our top priority. All volunteer-led camps follow Girl Scouts’ strict safety guidelines, and volunteers undergo training to ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants.
