This year’s STEM Expo is ROBOT-ICALLY AWESOME! Get ready to explore all things robots: how they move, work, help us stay healthy, and make the world a better place! Join Girl Scouts, friends, and families from across the Atlanta area as we discover new STEM topics, spark their curiosity, build confidence and become inspired to make the world a better place!

Celebrate the 15th anniversary of STEM Expo with this year’s activities! Attendees can...

  • Build your own robot prototype at Invention Convention and earn your “Designing Robots” badge
  • Receive a “Girl Scout Patent” at the Patent Office and learn how patents protect your ideas!
  • Explore our STEM community at Activity Tables, hosted by community partners
  • Kick off a season of sports, movement, and health at the “Health Zone”
  • Celebrate our Girl Scout’s STEM accomplishments at the Girl Scout Science Fair
  • Check out some throwback inventions and discover what Girl Scouts were doing at the first STEM Expo, 15 years ago!

STEM Expo is full of hands-on fun for Girl Scouts of all ages!

  • Daisies- join us at 2:00 PM for a "Daisy hour" just for you! (but you are welcome to attend earlier sessions if you prefer)
  • Older Girl Scouts (Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors), join us throughout the day for more in-depth workshops- topics and times coming soon!
  • Are you already a STEM pro?  Show off your expertise at the Girl Scout Science Fair! Applications close Dec 12, 2025.

This program is for all Girl Scouts (grades K-12).  Girl Scouts will earn their Designing Robots badges (for Daisies, Brownies, & Juniors) .  Badges can be purchased at the Badge & Sash or online.  All Girl Scouts will also receive a fun patch, which will be provided at the event.   Siblings and friends within the same age range are welcome to join; please include them in the registration.   This is NOT a drop off event.  Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader), within typical safety ratios.  Due to the nature of this event, adults need to purchase a ticket for themselves and any additional adults, siblings, or friends who will be in attendance.  Adults and siblings will have an opportunity to engage in the program experience alongside their Girl Scouts, helping to reinforce new concepts, learning, exploration, and development.  We encourage you to be ENGAGED, let your GIRL SCOUT take the LEAD, and HAVE FUN!

STEM Expo is a family event- siblings and friends are welcome!  This event will be hosted at Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta.  We recommend planning 2-3 hours at the event.  Food and drink will be available for purchase on site, including snacks and drinks.  Parking is free and on-site.
