Have your Girl Scouts participated in everyday outdoor adventures, like exploring nature in a nearby park? Are they looking for new ways to get outside? This intermediate outdoor council class will prepare you to plan and facilitate a safe and exciting cabin camping trip, including immersive learning opportunities to build a campfire and practice stick cooking.
This class is for: Adult volunteers
Location: Pine Acres Retreat (Acworth, GA)
This class takes place outdoors. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Note: This program is a part of our Volunteer Appreciation Weekend! When you register, you'll see the outline and information about the full program. You'll select: "Adult-Event + Outdoor Skills Level 2". Your registration will include attendance for the full day AND the Outdoor Skills Level 2 training in the evening. Feel free to participate where you are able during the day, as long as you arrive by 3:30pm.
