Green Tie Guys have begun stepping up for girls in our community
VIT Training is designed to prepare Girl Scouts to step confidently
into leadership roles within their troops and communities. Through
interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and peer collaboration,
participants will build essential skills in communication, mentorship,
and team leadership.
Girls will explore what it means to
lead with confidence, support younger Scouts, and create meaningful
girl experiences. By participating in this course, girls will fulfill
the requirements to earn their Volunteer in Training (VIT) Leadership
Pin, recognizing their readiness to take on leadership
responsibilities.
Upon completion, participants will also
become eligible to volunteer at council-level events, expanding their
impact and gaining real-world leadership experience beyond their troop.
This program is for Seniors (grades 9-10), Ambassadors (grades 11-12) Girl Scouts. This experience is just for Girl Scouts- no siblings please! This is a drop-off program. Please register if you are able to stay. This workshop will be hosted at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Headquarters in Mableton, GA.
