Green Tie Guys have begun stepping up for girls in our community
Calling all Cadettes!! Join us on March 8th from 1:00–3:30 PM at the Mableton Service Center for a hands-on workshop focused on earning the Cadette Finding Common Ground badge.
Middle school is full of opinions, preferences, and big feelings. This interactive workshop gives Cadettes the space to practice listening, understanding, and working together with confidence.
This collaborative Cadette workshop focuses on what finding common ground looks like between peers, especially when opinions, interests, and personalities don’t always match up. Through hands-on activities, movement-based discussions, and creative group challenges, Cadettes will explore active listening, collaborative decision-making, and respectful communication in ways that feel authentic and relevant to their everyday lives.
Girls will complete all steps of the Cadette Finding Common Ground badge as they:
Cadettes will be encouraged to speak up, ask questions, and work through challenges together in a supportive environment. No prior preparation is needed. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to try and learn something new.
There is no pre-work required for this workshop. All badge requirements will be completed during the session.
By the end of the session, Cadettes will earn and take home the Cadette Finding Common Ground badge and walk away with practical tools for navigating differences with confidence and empathy.
What to Bring
Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay during the workshop. A designated parent lounge will be available for those who choose to remain on-site.
