Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are invited to stretch your minds
and your bodies at two IMPACTFUL workshop opportunities offered at the
Mableton Service Center:
First, get your body and
mind moving through breathing exercises, stretches, and mindfulness
practices with FreedOM Youth Yoga. Remember to wear comfortable
clothing that won't limit movement and to bring a water bottle. You
may also bring your own yoga mat or rent one for $3.
In
the afternoon, earn a patch from Wish for WASH as you dive headfirst
into the impactful work of creating meaningful change in our community
around menstrual health. This workshop includes a design challenge,
team building, and of course the chance to network with local
changemakers in our community.
Girl Scouts are welcome to attend one or both workshops.
There is plenty of space to bring a lunch and enjoy some
quality time together at our beautiful headquarters or to meet up at a
local dining location in between the two classes.
This program is a drop-off event. However, volunteers and guardians are welcome to stay in the building, utilizing our multiple public spaces, the lobby waiting area, or our back deck while the Girl Scouts are in their sessions.
Adults can also have lunch with their Girl Scouts or take them to lunch.
