Family Jubilee is a unique opportunity to get the whole family to experience Camp Misty Mountain! We are excited to offer this festival-style camping event for your family. Family Jubilee will accept registrations from men, women, girls, boys, and Alumnae Girl Scouts. Of course, you can attend as a “Dad and Daughter or Mom and me” duo. Choose to camp in your own tent, or reserve a room in a cabin, a platform tent for your family, or a screened-in cabin (for an additional fee except for your own tent).

Fire rings, shelters, water spigots, picnic tables, pit latrines, and showers are also available. Bring your own traditional camping equipment (portable grill/smoker, propane stove), or go old school and build a campfire in our fire rings or your portable fire pit brought from home to make your meals. You can purchase firewood and ice from our trading post. Our traditional all-you-can-eat Breakfast Buffet will be available on Sunday morning for an additional $15 per person (pre-registration required).

The theme for the weekend is Safari Adventure. There will be themed activities for the weekend as well as traditional activities which include general arts and crafts, screen printing, tie-dye, nature hiking, fishing, leather crafting, target sports, and canoeing at no additional cost. The rock wall and challenge tower will be available for an extra fee paid at camp. Pre-registration is required for Horseback Riding activities for an additional fee (click on More Details/Register)

*Since this is a family event, please be aware that not all adults are registered Girl Scouts with a Background check. Each parent/guardian is responsible for supervising his/her own child at the event.

Accommodations:

Family Cabin Room - $95 per person - Cabins are limited to family members/family pods. 14 cabin/room units are available for each weekend with 4-12 beds in each cabin. Kitchen areas are shared between 2-4 families using the cabins in the unit. You are welcome to bring a grill or camp stove for food prep. There is a shared family room and a shower/bathroom with multiple stalls.

Platform Tents - $85 per person—The Platform tents in the Pasture Ridge and Sweet Gum Hollow units are large, walled canvas tents with wooden floors and four cots with mattresses. Within our two tent units, there are 10 platform tents with 4 beds in each tent. Platform tents can only be shared by people who request to share in the buddy section when registering.

Screened-In Cabin - $90 per person - Magnolia View has six cabins. Magnolia View A has one cabin that sleeps 10, and Magnolia View B has five cabins with four bunk beds in each that sleep eight people. Magnolia View A has electricity, but they do not have heat or air conditioning. This option has more shelter than a platform tent but less than a cabin. You will have access to a shared shower/bathroom with multiple stalls. Hill Top has three screened-in cabins with 8 beds in each one. Each screened-in cabin can only be shared by people who request to share in the buddy section when registering.

Bring Your Own Tent - $70 per person - Three open fields are dedicated to guests who want to bring their own tent or camper. Choose where you want to stay when you arrive at camp:

  • Pear Tree Pasture: A smaller pasture near the canoe beach and the archery range. This is a very popular location and just a short bike or walk away from activities.
  • Open Pasture: The largest of the three fields, where most of our campers pitch tents.
  • Lower Pasture: This space is reserved for our larger RVs and anyone with a generator. It is next to the Farmhouse and the farthest from the camp activities area.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not a campground and do not have power, water, or sewer hookups for RVs. Small campers, such as pop-ups and pick-up trucks, are allowed in the lower pasture. If you have a large recreation vehicle or any vehicle with a generator, you will be restricted to Lower Pasture. There are specific time frames for generator use. You may not pitch a tent in a cabin or platform tent unit.
