Bring your detective skills to learn what happens behind-the-scenes online to your personal data!  Do a deep dive into internet cookies, social engineering, and digital footprints.  Then put your new skills to use in exploring data and privacy settings, learning how you can keep yourself (and others) safe online!  Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes workshop of Home Depot's corporate offices, and will explore different careers involved in cybersecurity.

This program is for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador (6th-12th grade) Girl Scouts, who will earn their Cybersecurity Basics badge and a fun patch (both provided at the workshop).  This workshop will be hosted by our partners at The Home Depot at their Smyrna campus. Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader), within typical safety ratios. This experience is just for Girl Scouts- no siblings please!  Space is limited so register today!  All questions can be directed to us at STEM@gsgatl.org.
