Calling all Girl Scouts! Bring your families and friends to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to explore and discover the amazing world of nature. Visit discovery stations about bees and pollination, musical instruments made from plants, insect-eating plants, and seeds from 10 a.m. – noon. Don’t miss Patrick Shearn’s Enchanted Trees, as well as the return of Alice’s Wonderland featuring seven installations of 22 topiary-like mosaiculture pieces, such as the Red Queen and the White Rabbit.
Then join Mahlealani’s Polynesian Entertainment on the Great Lawn at 10 and 10:45 a.m. as the duo shares songs and dances from the South Pacific highlighting themes of ohana (family) and aloha aina (love of the land). Guests of all ages will be invited to participate in dances. Mahealani’s Polynesian Entertainment is an award-winning entertainment company sharing the culture of their ancestors from the Pacific Islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Samoa through song and dance.
Atlanta Botanical Garden fun patches will be for sale in the Gift Shop.
