Green Tie Guys have begun stepping up for girls in our community
Wait? You can have a garden in the city? Yep! Even inside your own house! This event is designed to teach you the ins and outs of operating an at home garden. With the prices of food ever on the rise being able to have some of your produce grown at home can be a big help.
This event will teach Girl Scouts different methods to garden in smaller spaces that most wouldn't think were suitable for growing food stuffs. We will try some Camp Grown Produce, compare local grown foods to grocery store foods, and build a take home set to begin your own home garden.
