The Girls have 3 steps that they must complete to earn the actual Program Aid award, they need to:
- Earn at least one Leader in Action (LIA) award
This involves working with a troop of younger girls as they complete a journey.
- Complete the Program Aide Core Training course offered by the council.
At this course, The Girls will learn the skills needed to complete the final step and we are now offering this training virtually.
- Lead 6 activity sessions with younger Girl Scouts
The girls will learn many skills in Program Aide Core Training. Over 6 sessions, they need to use the skills learned with a troop or with one younger girl(s).
