Harvest and Sow! The gardener's rhythm. This event is designed to teach you the most important parts of operating food based agriculture and why its important for everyone.
This event will first teach Girl Scouts the process of harvesting different types of food stuff produce. Then we will learn how to plant the next crop right at Meriwether's Garden (get ready to get dirty!). But it's not just pick and plant. Staff will teach them different crops to plant next to each other or away from each other to keep the entire garden heathly and increase production. We will focus on native plants of Georgia!
