Join your Girl Scout sisters at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum to learn about the impact President and Mrs. Carter have had on our world. President and Rosalynn Carter are well known for their commitment to serving their community, just like Girl Scouts! Discover Rosalynn Carter's story; she was a writer, activist, and humanitarian who devoted her life to advocating for mental health services. She embodies the Girl Scout spirit! Girl Scouts can earn portions of their Democracy badges or simply enjoy a morning at the museum and garden.

This program is a civics-based education program open for Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, and will be hosted by our partners at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum in midtown Atlanta. Museum educators will guide Girl Scouts through a large group presentation that starts promptly at 10am. This will be followed by a self-guided museum scavenger hunt and chance to explore the garden and complete a nature journal. The amazing library and museum are surrounded by 35 acres of ponds, local wildlife and rolling grounds for you to explore. Don’t miss the chance to visit Jimmy Carter's Oval Office, see a Nobel Peace Prize, and learn about our country's only President from Georgia!
