Are you curious about the CDC, public health, or a career in medicine?  Join us for Girl Scout Day at the CDC Museum to learn more!  You’ll be able to explore the museum at your own pace, plus enjoy special features just for Girl Scouts!  Meet a CDC scientist and learn about their work at different hands-on activity tables.  Get a behind-the-scenes peek at the CDC Museum collection with a working iron lung, a guinea worm, and the oldest computer at the museum!  Plus, complete a scavenger hunt to earn your Public Heath Fun Patch.

This program is for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts (grades 6-12).  This Girl Scout Day will the hosted at the David J Sencer CDC Museum near Emory.  Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader).  Siblings within the same age range are welcome; please include them in this registration.  Please note that the subject matter of the museum includes topics, like reproductive and sexual health, that are most appropriate for older Girl Scouts.  Attendees will receive a Public Heath Fun Patch.

Please register for your preferred entry time slot (every 30 minutes, 2:00-5:00 PM).  A typical museum visit takes about 2 hours, but you are welcome to explore at your own pace and stay as long as you like.

This is NOT a drop-off event.  Due to the nature of this program, adults need to purchase a ticket for themselves and any additional adults or siblings that will be in attendance. Adults will have an opportunity to engage in the program experience alongside their Girl Scouts, helping to reinforce new concepts, learning, exploration, and development.  We encourage you to be ENGAGED, let your GIRL SCOUT take the LEAD, and HAVE FUN!
