Come to Camp Meriwether with your closest female role model for a magical day full of camptivities, camp crafts, teambuilding, outdoor skills, an adult-assisted horse ride, and Girl Scout bonding. Girl Scouts and their Families will learn about what Girl Scout Camping is all about. Activities are designed to introduce your Daisy or Brownie into the camp outing experience. This day is also focused on thinking creatively while learning about our camp fairy, Sparkles.
This event is open to Girl Scouts and Juliettes with a guardian (guardians must register as an adult). Family members are welcome at this event.
If your troop wants to attend as a troop unit you will need to register for the event on 1/27 to 1/28. All groups will be scheduled and housed as family units not troops during this weekend.
Girl Scout Level: Daisy and Brownies (Grades
K-3)
Badge Connection: Daisies Eco Learner and
Trail Adventure; Brownies Eco Friend, Making Friends, Outdoor
Adventurer and Trail Adventure
This program will cover the parts of the badge requirements that require a camp setting and cannot be done at home.
Girl and Sibling Fee: $90 Adult
Fee: $75
Fee includes: Activities (1 adult
led pony ride, 1 equestrian ground lesson, 2 staff lead activities,
1 self-guided or free period), 1 meal (Saturday Lunch), all supplies
for camp led program and staffing for activities, event patch
This is a parent/Girl Scout event. We do not require background checks on all adults attending. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and care of their Girl Scout. If your troop wants to be grouped together, please register for the Fairy Magic Troop event on 1/27. All groups will be scheduled and housed as adult and Girl Scout pairs/trios this weekend.
