Be a part of the booming television and film industry as a casting director for the day! Join your sister Girl Scouts on this rare behind-the-scenes opportunity to visit SCAD’s in-house casting department. You will experience what it takes to put actors in front of the camera. During this event, participants will review a script, look at headshots and resumes, role-play as actors and casting directors, operate industry-standard lights and camera equipment, and finally visit our set where SCAD tv and film projects are shot!

This workshop will feature engaging hands-on activities delivered by Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) instructors.  This program is for Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Girl Scouts (6th-12th grade).  This workshop will be hosted at SCAD's Atlanta campus and will include a campus tour and pizza lunch (included in the registration cost).  Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader) within standard GS safety ratios.  Space is limited so register today!  All questions can be directed to us at sfant@gsgatl.org.

The SCAD Casting Office – the only on-site, professionally run casting office in higher education - connects SCAD students to film and television productions in Georgia, New York, Los Angeles, and beyond.
