Are you ready to take on the Zombies that have invaded Camp Misty Mountain? Come and spend the weekend with us learning how to be prepared for anything! We will focus on each girl earning their first aid badge this weekend, learning how be prepared for an emergency, and having some fun while the Zombies begin to disappear as we learn!
Girl Scout Level: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (Grades 4-12)
Badge Connection: Junior Camper, Cadette Primitive Camper, Senior Adventurer, and Ambassador Survival Camper
Girl Fee: $115 Adult Fee: $75
Fee includes: Activities, 4 meals (3 on Saturday,
Breakfast Sunday), all supplies for the camp-led program, and staffing
for activities that equal a 1:15 ratio for program delivery.
Adult training required: Each troop must have at least
one adult who has completed the Council Sponsored Event Learning
Path (Safety First and Day Trips & Overnights in gsLearn)
and First Aid/CPR
All adults attending the event
(including parents and guardians) must be registered Girl Scouts and
have successfully completed a background check.
Safety Activity Checkpoint Ratios: This event is open to troops and Juliettes with a guardian. We may be required to limit the number of adults required according to Volunteer Essentials ratio on page 5 of the Safety Activity Checkpoints to allow maximum Girl Scout participation. Each troop must have two unrelated female adults in attendance at all times. An additional adult may be added for transportation needs.
Payment Schedule: A 25% deposit of event fees is due at the time of registration. Payments must be made in full no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Late payments risk cancellation. Auto pay option available at checkout.
Financial Assistance: In order to remove financial barriers to participation in Girl Scouts, limited funds are available to cover some expenses. This application covers financial assistance requests for program events.
