Come to Meriwether this December and join us for some Winter and Holiday inspired riding in our annual Winter Horseshoe Games! Each participant will get a refresher mini lesson then the opportunity to challenge their skills with games such as Shovel and Snowball, Present Delivery, and Musical Chimneys. When not riding, participants will get to make holiday horse treats and create a costume drape for a Horse costume contest. Hot Chocolate and Candy Canes included. Skills Requirement: Riders need to be comfortable Mounting with a mounting block, getting a horse that they are unfamiliar with to halt, walk on, and turn left and right while keeping a safe distance from other riders, without needing a ground helper to assist outside of mounting and dismounting.
