Green Tie Guys have begun stepping up for girls in our community
Date: Sat May 20, 10:00 AM EST - Sat May 20, 12:00 PM EST
Join our partners at Accenture to learn more about coding! Complete hands-on coding challenges like coding some dance moves or creating your own digital game. While you earn one of your Coding for Good badges, you will meet STEM professionals who work at Accenture.
This program is for Junior (4th-5th grade) and Cadette (6th-8th grade) Girl Scouts. The workshop will be hosted at the Mableton Service Center. Tablets will be provided to complete the coding activity, but you are welcome to bring a personal device (laptop or tablet). Each Girl Scout must have a responsible adult on-site (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader). Siblings within the age range are welcome. Space is limited so register today! All questions can be directed to us at STEM@gsgatl.org.
Please note that registration closes two weeks before the event to allow for planning, set up, and other preparations. Be sure to register early!
