Green Tie Guys have begun stepping up for girls in our community
Date: Sat Jun 17, 11:00 AM EST - Sat Jun 17, 4:00 PM EST
Join your fellow Girl Scout Cadettes to earn your Silver Award! In this one full day in person session, girls will work together to create a project plan, assign roles, and will learn about sustainability. Once the session is over, girls will implement their plans to make a difference in their communities.
Note: This program is for girls who are hoping to get a STRONG foundation for the Gold Award. We are focusing on rigor and high-quality projects.
At the end of the Girl Scout year (after 9/30/23), girls will come back together to share their Silver Award success with each other and their families and friends. Girls who successfully complete projects will receive their Silver Award pin, certificate, and some other celebratory items!
Prerequisites: Girls must have completed a CADETTE Journey.
The academy will take place on June 17th from 11AM - 4PM at the Mableton Council Office.
Cost of attendance is $25 per girl. Cost includes all materials during program sessions, lunch, AND Silver Award celebratory package, upon successful completion of the program.
