Reach for the stars and unravel the mysteries of space! Join us for a camp style lock-in where we will work towards the Space Science badges during throughout this star-studded weekend. We will stay up late to enjoy the stars, discover more about our solar system, identify constellations, take a closer look at the moon and its phases, and stay up late to observe the night sky! Top off this space weekend with a sparkly glow and enjoy all of the nighttime fun Camp Timber Ridge offers. It’s going to be out of this world!
Girl Scout Level: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors
(Grades 4–12)
Badge Connection: Junior Space

Science Expert and Ambassador Space Science Master
Girl Fee: $125 Adult Fee: $85
Fee Includes: Activities, 4 meals (Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast), all supplies for camp led program, and staffing for activities that equals 1:15 ratio for program delivery. Badges Included.
Adult training required: Each troop attending must have
at least one adult who has completed the Council Sponsored Events
Learning Path and First Aid/CPR.
The Council Sponsored Events Learning Path includes the following training in gsLearn:
• Safety First
• Day Trips and Overnights
All adults attending the event (including parents and guardians) must be registered Girl Scouts and have successfully completed a background check.
Safety Activity Checkpoint Ratios: This event is open
to troops and Juliettes with a guardian. We may be required to limit
the number of adults required according to Volunteer Essentials ratio
on page
5 of the Safety Activity Checkpoints to allow maximum Girl Scout
participation. Each troop must have two unrelated female adults in
attendance at all times. An additional adult may be added for
transportation needs.
Payment Schedule: A 25% deposit of event fees is due at the time of
registration. Payments must be made in full no later than 30 days
prior to the event date. Late payments risk cancellation. Auto pay
option available at checkout.
Financial Assistance: In order to remove financial
barriers to participation in Girl Scouts, limited funds are available
to cover some expenses. This
application covers financial assistance requests for program
events.
