Represent our council at the 57th National Council Session - Washington, D.C. in 2026. Applications are open through Jan. 12, 2025.
GET STARTEDEvery three years, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) holds a National Council Session—also known as NCS.
National Delegates are elected representatives of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, serving as voting members during NCS. The individuals in this role are responsible for engaging and gathering feedback from Girl Scout members in our council and determining the direction the Girl Scout Movement will take by debating issues and voting on proposals at the NCS.
Throughout their three-year term, delegates gather feedback from their council’s membership, learn about proposals, and act as their council’s voice by serving as voting members on the National Council. Delegates then share insights and report on actions taken by the National Council with their council’s membership at Annual Meetings and other council events.
The Current National Delegation Term runs February 2022 to February 2025. Applications to serve as a National Delegate for the 2025-2028 term will open on November 11, 2024. The next national convention is scheduled for July 20–25, 2026, and will take place in Washington, DC, our nation’s capital, which will be celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
