Property Options: Camp Meriwether, Camp Misty Mountain, and Camp Timber Ridge.

Housing Options: Choose from setting up your own tents in a primitive campsite to sleeping in an air-conditioned cabin with a full kitchen, hot shower, and flush toilets.

Steps to Troop Overnight Camping Registration

Training is available in person at camp or online through gsLearn. Troop Camper volunteers can earn the Troop Outdoor Certificate to complete their training.

Weather

Camps remain open in most weather conditions and money is not refunded because of rain. Include rainy day activities in your planning! In the event of severe weather, leaders should evaluate the driving conditions and determine whether they should wait until the next day to travel. The council will notify the leader if the camp closes for any reason – a full refund will be issued under these circumstances.

Activities

Once activities have been confirmed, payment is required no later than 14 days in advance, or troops risk cancellation. Final participant numbers cannot be changed less than 14 days before the camping date. We will do our best to add additional participants when possible, but we will not be able to reduce group size or issue a refund less than 14 days before the camping date as we have made arrangements for your group. A full refund will be available if the activity cannot safely run due to weather. Activities that can safely run in light rain, cold, or hot temperatures, may not be canceled, so please come prepared. If the activity still runs and the troop chooses not to participate, a refund will not be available.
