Composting and Canning! These are two of the most important skills for anyone interested in growing and preserving their own food. Join us this fall for a weekend designed to teach you the ins and outs of being more self-sustaining in your daily food needs.

This event will allow Girl Scouts to learn about the process and importance of composting as well as preserving various food stuffs for the winter months like canning and dehydration.

If home farming is an interest of yours check out the two other events: Urbanely Home Grown & Harvest and Sow.
