6th-12th Grade Older Girl Program

At Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Girls grow courageous and strong through a wide variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, skill-building sports clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships.

When girls get older, the organization adapts to meet their needs, programs become more Girl-LED and the value of our custom leadership experience is seen. Join us in continuing the Girl Scout experience, through new and exciting activities and programs.

Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy

Girl Scouts believe all girls should be able to envision a future where they are financially independent and empowered. Along with Outdoors, STEM and Life Skills, Entrepreneurship is one of the four program pillars of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Through the Entrepreneurship program, girls will focus on the five skills that will build them up to be our women business leaders of tomorrow:

More than 50 awards and badges ensure girls from Kindergarten to High School are building their passion and skills as entrepreneurs. In addition, 25 of the badges form a Financial Literacy focused badge track within the Entrepreneurship badge family. You can learn about all the badges and awards available to girls using the Award and Badge Explorer. Search by age and by the topics of Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy to locate badges and awards she can earn!

Girls also annually participate in the Girl Scout Cookie program, Treats & Keeps program, and other Council events including Cookie Rally, Cookie University, and special badge earning workshops.

Our Girl Scout Entrepreneurship program progression shows how girls progress from Money Manager, learning basics of money management, all the way to a girl prepared with the skills, knowledge and attitude to be an innovator and an entrepreneur!

It's LITerature Book Club

Oh, the places Girl Scouts can go! Older girls will travel to foreign lands, discover mythical places, and walk in the shoes of their favorite characters through the magic of books! Each month, our Older Girl Book Club will dive into some of the biggest Young Adult titles together and share our love for reading.

LeadHER Workshop

There are so many skills that make up great leaders, and the LeadHER workshop series will help you sharpen them! Girls who participate in this series will explore their futures and their place in the world to create a personalized plan that allows them to reach their fullest potential. Join some of Greater Atlanta’s top adult mentors to discuss a variety of topics like stress management, resume writing, and career exploration and learn new ways to grow as leader in your community and beyond.

Camp CEO Program

This is camp like you’ve never experienced! High school girls come together for a personalized mentorship experience with some of Atlanta's most accomplished women executives. This highly rewarding, unique and often surprising opportunity give girls a real-world understanding of what it’s like to be an executive woman today. Together, expertly matched mentor/mentee pairs will experience a series of activities designed to build your leadership and professional skills. You will discover how these real women started out - just like you: a teen girl with dreams, goals, and everyday challenges; learn from their roadmap to success; and figure out how to create your path to achieving ambitious goals.
