Happy New Year!
Thank you for all the work that you do as an ambassador for Girl Scouts and the Annual Fund in particular. I'm so grateful for your support! I hope you are all excited for the new year and that the families in your Service Unit will be eager to give back to an organization that means so much to their girls and add the magical new Annual Fund patch to their vest.
I've included some highlights about Annual Fund donations, resources, and your Service Unit goal below. I've also attached some resources to this email. With these resources, I'm confident that everyone can have a great new year and reach their Annual Fund goal!
Annual Fund Slides: You can review the attached slides to learn more about what Annual Fund donations support, the structure of your Service Unit Annual Fund goal, and what types of donations count towards your goal. You can download them for future reference and even share them at an upcoming Service Unit meeting!
GSGATL Website: The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta website is a great resource and I encourage you to check it out and explore everything if you haven’t already. Here is the direct link to the page people can visit to make a donation. Another page on the website to be familiar with is the “Other Ways to Support” page. This page has information about upcoming community partner events (some of the great upcoming events include Girl Scout Days with the Atlanta Hawks, a performance of Aladdin at the Fox Theatre, and a show at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra!) as well as information about matching gifts and Volunteer Service Grants.
Annual Fund flyers: A few Annual Fund resources are attached. You can download them to use throughout the year at troop meetings, Service Unit events, etc. I have created a double-sided Annual Fund flyer that is ideal for Service Unit volunteers, as well as a single-sided version that is ideal to share in a more widespread way with troop leaders and Girl Scout parents. Feel free to print this single-sided version, distribute them at troop parent meetings, and encourage parents to scan the QR code and make their $35 donation right then during the meeting. I have also attached a flyer with the same QR code to donate that goes into more detail about what each donation level can do for local girls.
Annual Fund Communications: Everyone on my Service Unit Annual Fund volunteer list receives monthly updates (like this one!) with upcoming Annual Fund opportunities and an update on your progress towards your Annual Fund goal. If anyone in your Service Unit is interested in supporting but is missing from this email, please let me know and I will add them!
