Safety Activity Handbook

Nothing is more important within Girl Scouting than ensuring the health and safety of girls.

It’s important for our girls, adults, training staff, and volunteers to be safety conscious to ensure proper supervision, prevention of accidents, and maintenance of program resources.

COVID-19 Related Resources:

GSGATL's Volunteer COVID-19 Guidelines provide interim guidance on holding in-person troop meetings and activities.

A Virtual Troop Meeting safety activity checkpoint has been created to provide guidance on safely leading virtual troop meetings for girls. Council approval is not required for online meetings. Prior to meeting online, girls and parents should complete the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Internet Safety Pledge and submit to their troop leader to keep on file with other required documents.

The Safety Activity Handbook was posted to our Website on May 16, 2019. Please reference the file below for important information about the Safety Activity Handbook and a complete chart of all activities.
