New Leader Orientation and/or American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Training 

You will have three choses to choose from:

  1. New Leader Orientation Only
  2. New Leader Orientation and Red Cross Blended Learning
  3. Red Cross Blended Learning Only

Calling all New Girl Scout Leaders! Come spend a few hours with your fellow New Leaders and complete your basic training through hands on learning.

From Girl Scout lingo and songs to using the Volunteer Toolkit. You will walk away with a wealth of knowledge to help you enjoy your first year and receive your New Leader Certification in the process.

So, grab your co-leader and sign up early. Space is limited to the first 10 people.

If you plan for your troop to leave your meeting location during the year, you will need a trained First Aider. We are offering a Blended First Aid course with a skills demonstration in person after New Leader Orientation. This class is open to new and existing Leaders and costs $50.00. Please follow the directions to register for the course.

Cost: $10 per person for New Leader Orientation only (includes: Girl Scout Pin, troop supply kit, snacks, and supplies)

$50 per person for New Leader Orientation and Red Cross Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED training.

$50 per person for Red Cross Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED training

Schedule:

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. New Leader Orientation

12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch break (bring a sack lunch)

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Blended First Aid/CPR/AED Training

What should I bring? Excitement, your questions, optional: a device to access the Volunteer Toolkit.

If I do not have a device, should I attend? Yes, we will have a few extra devices to be borrowed.

What does the cost include? Supplies, snacks, and a special troop start-up supply kit.

Can I bring my child? No, this is an adult learning opportunity only.
