STEM Career Panel: The Science of Child Development

Mon Jan 11, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Council Program Events
Ambassadors, Brownies, Cadettes, Juniors, Seniors

Join us to investigate STEM careers and earn your STEM Career Explorer Badge! Log on each month to discover a new STEM field.  Explore how your interests might lead you into a career, and how different jobs work to make the world a better place.

Attendees will have the opportunity for one-on-one discussions with women working in STEM fields. Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes can attend two workshops (offered monthly) and complete an independent activity to earn their STEM Career Explorer badge.  These programs are free!

This STEM Career Panel is hosted by the Emory Child Study Center.  The Center studies the cognitive development of children, including language, learning, memory, and how children understand space and numbers.  Panelists will include undergraduate and post-doctoral Psychology students, all working on research projects with the Center.

Stay tuned for additional STEM Career Panels throughout Spring 2021!
