About Treats & Keeps
Want to earn money for special troop activities and community service projects? Participate in the Treats & Keeps Program this fall to raise funds at the start of the Girl Scout year. Selling chocolates, nuts, magazines, and photo keepsake items can help make dreams a reality. Girls even earn great rewards along the way.
Most importantly, by running her own business she’ll learn a lifetime of skills, including:
- Goal Setting
- Decision Making
- Money Management
- People Skills
- Business Ethics
Girls can take customer orders September 1 – October 17, so jump in at any time. Girls who are not yet in a troop or who are a part of Virtual Girl Scouts are also invited to participate.

- Register for a QSP Account
Set up your online store starting Aug. 22.
Start promoting your store Sept.1 through emails, social media and text messages.
If you have participated in the program before, use your previous login. For new users be sure to take note of your Girl Scout Online ID# when registering.
- Customize Your Online Store
Girls can dazzle their welcome page with fun backgrounds and icons, add goals so customers can understand why they are supporting, and upload a photo or video to make it all her own.
- Spread the word
Girls can send personalized emails through their QSP account to invite friends and family to shop their online store. Even promote the store link through a parent’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Internet safety is important. Adult supervision is recommended for all online activities.
