Helping girls decide what they want to do, and coaching them as they
earn and manage money to pursue their goals, is an integral part of
the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).
The girls must be part of the decision on how to use or distribute
the troop’s funds.
They may either be used as planned before the new troop is formed,
or be evenly distributed between the old and new troops, using a pro
rata per girl share.
