When you first get together with girls (this meeting may also include
parents/guardians, or you may decide to hold a separate meeting for
the adults), you’ll want to get to know the girls, and give them a
chance to get to know one another.
If you have a large support team, the first thing you’ll want to do
is meet with this group and discuss what brought each of you to Girl
Scouts, review your strengths and skills, and talk about how you would
like to work together as a team.
The quiet sign can be extremely useful to you as a volunteer, so
teach it to girls during your first meeting.
