This class is necessary for leaders taking their troops camping in a cabin and do NOT plan on participating in outdoor cooking.
Platform Tent Camping with Fire Building and
This class is necessary for leaders planning on taking their troops camping and participate in outdoor cooking. These troops will be ready to stay in a cabin or platform tent. If you are planning to stay in a cabin and cook in a kitchen, this class is not necessary.
Troop Camp & SU Camporees
Troop camping is a unique opportunity for girls to connect with each other while discovering and exploring the outdoors.
Property Options: Camp Meriwether, Camp Misty Mountain, Camp Pine Valley, and Camp Timber Ridge.
Housing Options: Choose from setting up your own tents in a primitive campsite to sleeping in an air-conditioned cabin with a full kitchen, hot shower, and flush toilets.

Camporees, also known as in-gatherings, are a community building opportunity for Girl Scout troops within a service unit to connect with each other while discovering the out of doors. Two options are available to best meet the needs of different service units.
Option 1: $25/person for two nights-includes two activities and lodging. Group size: minimum of 50 people, maximum is based on site capacity. Camp Pine Valley only.
Option 2: $75/person for two nights-includes four meals, three activities and lodging. Group size: minimum of 100 people, maximum is based on site capacity.
