A weekend at Serendipity gives moms (or aunts, grandmothers or other special women) and their girls an opportunity to spend time together without any distractions. Serendipity is held at Camp Meriwether, near Newnan, GA and is the picture perfect setting to re-connect.

Choose from a variety of accommodations and enjoy cooking in the great outdoors using camping equipment in unique ways or have someone else do the cooking by going to a restaurant nearby.

Do as much or as little as you like, by dropping in at activities like arts and crafts, canoeing, archery, games and so much more! Optional activities include horseback riding, the challenge course, and a delicious Sunday breakfast buffet -offered for a small additional fee.

Troops wanting to be placed in a cabin together need to include your troop number and name of person organizing the troop cabin in the buddy section. Each family in the troop registers individually, there is no troop registration option. If you do not fill a cabin other mom and daughter pairs will be placed with you. One cabin is held for mother/daughters attending without a troop. Cabin units share a nearby bathhouse with hot water and flushing toilets.

Bring Your Own Tents

A relatively flat field near Lily Pad Pond has been designated for those who wish to bring their own tent. This area has access to portable toilets, fire circles and running water.

PRICE: Registration fee plus your hotel of choice (price varies)

If you prefer not to sleep at camp, there are many hotels available just 15-20 minutes away, and a few bed-and-breakfast venues even closer to camp. Spend the weekend "glamping" with your daughter, enjoying the day at Camp Meriwether, and the night at your favorite hotel!
